Tour to the Mirador de Piedras Rojas and the Miscanti and Meñiques Altiplanic Lagoons
The excursion to the Mirador de Piedras Rojas and the Miscanti and Meñiques Altiplanic Lagoons starts at your lodge between 7:00 and 7:30 am towards the town of Socaire.
We will continue to the Altiplanic Lagoons (Miscanti and Meñiques ), where we will make a gentle walk through the place observing its flora and fauna.
We will continue towards the Salar de Talar and the Mirador de Piedras Rojas , from where you can appreciate the red of the stones and the contrast with the calypso of the Salar de Aguas Calientes .
We will visit the Salar de Atacama and we will cross the path of Laguna Chaxa , where the three species of flamingos that inhabit Chile nest: the Andean, Chilean and James flamenco.
Finally, we will visit the town of Toconao , where we will visit the church and the Bell Tower of San Lucas.
