PLAZA DE ARMAS: Meeting point and start of our experience where we will present the team, the route and general indications.
EX NATIONAL CONGRESS: We will delve into the atmosphere and popular feeling of Chile in the late 60's and early 70's. We will relive the social effervescence and the expectations generated by the triumph of Salvador Allende, the first democratically elected socialist ruler in the history.
SPACE M: We will discover the role of the US and the Soviet Union in the period of Popular Unity. We will project the social polarization and the "trench journalism" exercised by the media, through different covers of newspapers, magazines and cartoons of the time.
PLATE LEONARDO HENRICHSEN: We will be surprised with the story of the first fallen reporter recording an attempted military coup, during the day of the failed uprising known as "El Tanquetazo", and we will know the underlying reasons for this frustrated event.
COFFE BREAK: We will replenish energy with a coffee break, where we will take advantage of knowing a store that offers a wide variety of local products and family work from rural hands across the country.
PLACE OF THE CONSTITUTION: We will set the days before the coup d'état and the back room of one of the most emblematic betrayals in history. We will relive chronologically the events of the day of September 11, which will mark a before and after in the history of Chile.
MORANDÉ 80: We will know the outcome of the day of the coup d'état, in what would be the last moments of the Popular Unity government and the first ones of the military dictatorship, going through the history of the controversial door where the dead body came from by Salvador Allende.
BUILDINGS OF BULNES: We will be surprised with the footprints still visible in buildings surrounding the Palacio de la Moneda, of what was the day of the coup d'état.
LONDON 38 - MEMORY SPACE: We will reconstruct the history of London 38 as a center for clandestine detention, torture and extermination, and we will reflect on the causes and consequences of the coup d'état in our society.
